Jinny Beauty Supply is an ethnic and multicultural wholesale beauty distributor with over $300 million in annual revenue. As part of Jinny Beauty Supply's acquisition of Box Beauty (see below), I became their Director of

E-commerce for two years.

​

Responsibilities

• Trained and transferred all working knowledge of Box Beauty to Jinny Beauty Supply.

• Oversaw the rebranding of BoxBeauty.com into their new e-commerce company's website.

• Became the liaison between the President of Jinny Beauty Supply and their IT department.

• Helped advance the company's adoption and better utilization of their new ERP.

• Overhauled their websites and mobile apps to help modernize their B2B and B2C operations.

Box Beauty - Founder, Managing Director

Box Beauty was an online beauty retailer catering to an ethnic and multicultural demographic. Products sold included tens of thousands of items ranging from electrical appliances to hygienics, topicals, and makeup.

Our mission was to be a one stop shop for an under served market at the most affordable prices.

Highlights​

• Over its 4 years of operation, Box Beauty had a total revenue of over $25 million.

• As owner/managing director, I oversaw our four divisions: IT, Marketing, E-commerce​, and Warehousing.

• We sold domestically and internationally across platforms like Amazon, Walmart, and our own website.

• Our exclusive vendor, Jinny Beauty Supply, purchased Box Beauty in late 2020.​

Wild Oak Entertainment - General Manager

2012 - 2014

​

 I worked directly for Jonathan Murray, the creator of the hit reality shows Keeping Up with the Kardashians,

Project Runway, and The Real World.

​

Highlights

• Oversaw and hired for various higher-end entertainment projects.

• Released songs collaborating with B.o.B, Sean Kingston, and Young Money Entertainment.

• Songs aired on radio and television, which led to 13 city national tour.

• Met with RCA Records and Republic Records in their Manhattan offices.​

SlamJamz Records - Internship

2012

While interning out of Public Enemy’s private New York recording studio during their 25th Anniversary, I had the opportunity to learn from Hip Hop legend Chuck D. I also worked with DMC, DJ Johnny Juice, and other renowned artists. This experience showed me how to run a successful independent music label.
